Proof of Vision

I recently joined the Proof of Vision podcast to discuss a topic often overlooked in DeFi: clearing.
In traditional markets, clearing is the hidden infrastructure that nets trades, manages margin, and prevents losses from cascading through the system. Without it, capital efficiency collapses.
In crypto, we’ve accepted over-collateralization and isolated risk as the norm. But it doesn’t have to be.

On the show, I shared why:
- Clearing is the missing layer in DeFi.
- Portfolio-level margin unlocks more trading with the same collateral.
- Transparent, deterministic risk logic is essential for institutions.
- A universal clearing layer allows both crypto-native and TradFi players to build on common rails.
This is what we’re building at Pascal Protocol.
If you’re interested in how DeFi grows beyond perps and funding rates, I think you’ll find value in this conversation.
