CNBC Interview

Bitcoin drops to $67,000 level, and Gemini returns more than $2 billion to users: CNBC Crypto World

I joined CNBC Crypto World at Consensus 2024 to talk about why we launched Crypto Valley Exchange during the downturn, and what I was hearing from institutions at the conference. My argument was that crypto winter is exactly when you build serious infrastructure: the tourists leave, the regulatory picture clarifies, and the people still in the room are the ones who want proper markets rather than a bull-run casino.

The segment, with CNBC’s own framing: CNBC Crypto World features the latest news and daily trading updates from the digital currency markets, with high-profile interviews, explainers and stories from the industry. On this show I explain why crypto winter was the right time to start the exchange, and what I was hearing from attendees at Consensus 2024.
